Fourteen riders (plus one pillion passenger) on a diverse range of machines turned out for a glorious morning’s riding. Brilliant blue skies. Hedgerows laded with blossom. Delightful views (in Cambridgeshire!). Little traffic to contend with. And a welcoming team at the Barley Mow to provide refreshments.

‘Winner’ of the Anglian Cup (organisers choice) was Tony Malthouse on a (need I say?) immaculate BSA twin. No mishaps to my knowledge so by my reckoning we were all winners.
