At last we have some good news regarding our Section meeting place.
Graham Waters and Roger Burton have paid a visit to the new Social Club that has replaced our old original meeting place on the Fulbourn hospital site.
Apparently the room is larger than our current one, it has all modern equipment and most importantly it has storage facilities for our trophies etc. There is no rental fee to pay only individual annual membership of £5. If you recall this was the same arrangement that we used to have when we vacated our original site.
Arrangements confirmed and we can start to make use of these facilities on Tuesday 14th December 7.30pm, so lets make this a great way to see the 2021 out and look forward to a better 2022.
These are newly built premises, I drove out to find them and hopefully the following will help.
From Cherry Hinton direction towards Fulbourn on Cambridge Road there is a sign for the Ida Darwin Hospital turn in here on to Hinton Road.
From there follow the signs, have faith you will come to the Social Club, where there is ample parking
